Chocolate Caramel Coconut Dream Bars
If you love the combination of chocolate, caramel, and toasted coconut, these Chocolate Caramel Coconut Dream Bars are the kind of dessert that disappears from the dessert table before you even realize it. They have a buttery, tender crust, a chewy coconut layer, a rich caramel filling, and a smooth chocolate topping that brings everything together.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Baking Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9 × 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some parchment hanging over the sides. This makes it much easier to lift the finished bars out of the pan later.
Lightly grease the parchment with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2: Make the Buttery Crust
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until the mixture becomes light and creamy.
Add the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.
Gradually add the flour and salt. Mix just until a soft, crumbly dough forms. Avoid overmixing because you want the crust to remain tender.
Transfer the dough to the prepared baking pan and press it evenly across the bottom.
Use the back of a spoon, your fingertips, or the bottom of a measuring cup to create an even layer.
Bake for approximately 15–18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove the crust from the oven and allow it to cool for several minutes while you prepare the coconut layer.
