
Instructions
1. Cook the Meat

In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, sausage, and chopped onion until fully browned.

Drain excess fat.
2. Add Garlic

Return the pot to the stove and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Build the Soup Base

Stir in pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, sugar, balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano, bay leaf, and salt and pepper.

Cover and bring to a boil.
4. Add the Noodles

Break lasagna noodles into pieces and stir into the pot.

Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until noodles are tender.
5. Serve

Remove the bay leaf.

Ladle soup into bowls and top with Parmesan, mozzarella, or dollops of ricotta. Serve warm and enjoy!
