This simple dish for beef and broccoli is an all-time favorite that was inspired by takeaway food. You simply need twenty minutes to get it ready, and it makes use of THE MOST delicious sticky sauce.

This beef and broccoli dish is a no-brainer choice to make at home when you have a hankering for takeaway food. It takes less than thirty minutes to prepare, only requires one pan to cook in, and can be eaten on its alone or over white rice. The preparation is really easy.

This is the kind of dish that you’ll want to save for future reference and recreate time and time again… It may be cooked as meal prep in addition to being a simple and fast option for supper throughout the week. You may make some nutritious lunches for the week by packing rice or noodles with your meat and broccoli and then having them ready to go.

If you have any leftovers, you can store them by allowing them to cool and then storing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three or four days. Moreover, the beef and broccoli may be served on their own, with rice, or with noodles. Rice of any variety would do the trick (long-grain jasmine rice is our favorite). When it comes to noodles, the best option is either rice noodles or flat stir fry noodles.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

Flank steak, 1 pound. thinly sliced

2 tbsp.Of olive oil.

Fresh broccoli florets; I used 4 to 5 cups.

½ Cup.Of soy sauce.

¼ Cup.Of honey.

Minced garlic; I used 3 cloves.

2 tbsp.Of rice vinegar.

1 tsp.Of sriracha.

1 tsp.Of ground ginger.

¼ tsp.Of black pepper.

¼ tsp.Of red pepper flakes.

1 tbsp.Of cornstarch.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

To make the sauce, combine all of the following ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until well combined: soy sauce, honey, garlic, rice vinegar, sriracha, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Put aside.

Step

Put one tablespoon of oil in a big pan and heat it up over medium-high heat. Once the pan is heated, place the steak in it and cook it for three to four minutes on each side, or until it is browned. Put to the side, then wipe out the pan completely to remove any extra oil.

3rd Step

Over medium-high heat, add one-fourth of a cup of water to the pan. When the temperature is right, add the broccoli.

4th Step

Cook under cover for three to five minutes, or until the meat is cooked. If extra water is required, add it now. Mix it up every so often. Put to the side and pour out any water that is still present.

5th Step

After pouring the sauce into the pan, first bring it up to a boil and then turn the heat down to a low enough setting so that the sauce just barely simmers.

6th Step

Pour the cornstarch slurry that you made by combining one tablespoon of cornstarch with one tablespoon of water into the pan. Keep at a simmer for three to four minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

7th Step

Cook for a further one to two minutes after stirring in the meat and broccoli, or until the beef is well cooked.

8th Step

Serve immediately, on white rice if desired, and top with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish.
