Cheeseburger Puff Pastry Rolls 🍔🥐 — A Crispy, Cheesy Twist on a Classic Favorite

If you love the flavor of a juicy cheeseburger but want something fun, portable, and extra crispy, Cheeseburger Puff Pastry Rolls are the perfect upgrade. They combine seasoned beef, melted cheese, and flaky golden pastry into bite-sized rolls that work for parties, lunchboxes, game nights, or quick dinners.

They’re simple to make, customizable, and honestly a little addictive once they come out of the oven warm and golden.

🧂 Ingredients You’ll Need

For the filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese slices chopped small)

For the rolls:

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

🔥 Step-by-Step Method

1. Cook the beef filling

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart as it cooks. Once it starts browning, add the chopped onions and garlic.

Cook until the beef is fully browned and the onions are soft. Drain excess fat if needed.

2. Season like a cheeseburger

Now it’s time to bring in the classic burger flavor.

Add:

  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper

Stir everything together and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes so the flavors combine. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly (this helps prevent soggy pastry later).

3. Prepare the puff pastry

Lay your thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out gently to smooth the folds and slightly enlarge it.

Cut the sheet into even rectangles (or squares depending on your preferred roll size).
