Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Roll Bake

Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Roll Bake is a simple, sweet, and comforting dessert made with buttery crescent roll dough, creamy cheesecake filling, and bright cherry pie filling. It has the flavor of classic cherry cheesecake, but it is much easier to prepare because there is no crust to press, no water bath, and no long baking process.

This dessert is perfect for family gatherings, weekend treats, potlucks, holidays, or anytime you want something warm, creamy, and fruity with very little effort. The crescent roll dough becomes golden and flaky, while the cream cheese layer stays soft and rich. The cherry filling adds sweetness, color, and a slightly tangy fruit flavor that balances the creamy center beautifully.

Ingredients

To make Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Roll Bake, you will need:

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, for topping
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, optional

For a simple glaze, you can also use:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1: Prepare the Baking Dish

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F, or 175°C. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. This helps prevent the crescent dough from sticking and makes it easier to cut the dessert into clean squares after baking.

Step 2: Add the First Crescent Roll Layer

Open one can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it. Place the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Press the seams together with your fingers so it forms one even sheet.

Try to spread the dough all the way to the edges of the dish. This bottom layer acts like a soft, flaky crust and holds the creamy cheesecake filling.

Step 3: Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat everything together until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and free of lumps.

Softened cream cheese is important because it blends more easily. If the cream cheese is too cold, the filling may become lumpy. You can leave it at room temperature for about 30 minutes before mixing.
