HOW TO MAKE BROCCOLI, RICE, CHICKEN, AND CHEESE CASSEROLE
This Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole may be ready to eat in just thirty minutes and is cooked entirely in a single pot. It is cheesy, it is soothing, it is full of broccoli, and it is quite straightforward to prepare.
I have another one-pot dish that is a favorite of mine, and I wanted to share it with you. It consists of rice, chicken, cheese, and both broccoli and cauliflower. You can very well guarantee that it will be delicious since it contains all of the essential food categories. This recipe of chicken and rice is very mouthwatering!!!!
Let’s discuss chicken with rice, shall we? Who doesn’t like a delicious casserole-like meal consisting of chicken and rice? The beauty of this dish, however, is in the fact that it is prepared entirely in a single pan, that it can be prepared in less than half an hour, and that supper may be served before you ever realize it is done.
The cheese is my absolute favorite component of this casserole, and when I’m ready to serve it, I like to put the pan under the broiler for about a minute or two, just until the cheese begins to bubble and melt. Food that is easy to prepare, takes little time and is the epitome of absolute comfort. That can’t be topped.
This chicken and rice casserole is loaded with cheese and is a meal that is certain to put a smile on your face. With just a handful of ingredients and everything prepared in a single pot, supper may be ready in no time at all.
THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
1 Tbsp.Of olive oil.
A small chopped onion.
2 chicken breasts; I cut into small cubes.
¼ Tsp.Of salt.
¼ Tsp.Of black pepper.
4 minced garlic cloves.
¾ Cup.Of uncooked rice.
A 10-oz Can.Of cream of chicken soup.
2 Cups.Of chicken broth.
2 Cups.Of broccoli florets.
1 Cup.Of cheddar cheese.
1 Tbsp.Of fresh chopped parsley.
PREPARATION:
1st Step
Warm the olive oil in a big skillet that can go in the oven. Mix in some chopped onion and chicken in cubes.
2nd Step
Prepare on a heat setting of medium for approximately five minutes, or until the chicken loses its pink color and begins to develop some browning.
3rd Step
Taste and adjust salt and pepper. After stirring in the garlic, continue cooking for another 30 seconds, or until the garlic acquires a fragrant quality.
4th Step
Mix in the rice, then pour in the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Begin with two cups of chicken broth, and if more liquid is required, continue to add it until the rice is completely cooked.
5th Step
Bring to a boil, then immediately decrease the heat, cover, and continue cooking over medium heat until the rice is thoroughly cooked, stirring regularly; this should take around 15 minutes. Check the seasoning, and make any required adjustments.
6th Step
Cook for 2 minutes longer, then add the broccoli florets and half the cheese. The broccoli should be somewhat softened at this point.
7th Step
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the dish, then bring it back under the broiler for a couple of minutes, just long enough for the cheese to melt and begin to become a golden brown color.
8th Step
Decorate and serve. Serve with some fresh chopped parsley sprinkled over top.
