SLOW COOKER BAKED ZITI

HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER BAKED ZITI

Big Announcement! Your slow cooker is an excellent tool for making pasta. This delicious Baked Ziti in the Crock Pot was prepared entirely in the slow cooker. In your slow cooker, you can make cheesy and gooey pasta which is a must-try! I am well aware of this. It’s almost impossible to believe!

The pasta doesn’t even need to be pre-cooked in this recipe. I expected that the pasta would turn into mush, but the final product was identical to standard baked ziti. This baked ziti is a cheese-oozing work of art thanks to the combination of three different kinds of cheese. The combination of all of these cheeses not only lends a taste of its own but also recreates the Baked Ziti experience you had in an authentic Italian restaurant.

Because you don’t need to add any water to the pasta for this dish, you can let the tomato sauce do all the work of gently cooking the pasta for you instead. This recipe is so simple that all you need to do is combine a few components and then proceed to layer them in the same manner as you would for regular baked ziti.

YOU’LL NEED:

32-ounces.Of ricotta.

2 large whisked eggs.

1 small spoon.Of salt.

1 small spoon.Of fresh basil.

1/4 small spoon.Of black pepper.

1/4 Cup.Of grated parmesan; you can use more for topping.

48-ounces.Of marina sauce (2 jars).

12-ounces.Of gluten-free penne.

16-ounces.Of shredded mozzarella cheese.

PREPARATION:

First Step

Spray the insert of the slow cooker with non-stick spray all the way through.

Second Step

Combine ricotta, two eggs, and a quarter cup of parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

Third Step

Spread sauce around the bottom of the slow cooker. After that, arrange a layer of spaghetti on top of the sauce.

Fourth Step

Take five spoonfuls of the ricotta mixture and put them on top of the sauce. And then a layer of mozzarella cheese should go on top.

Fifth Step

Continue to repeat steps 3-5 twice more, finishing with a layer of sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.

Sixth Step

Cook for 2 and a half hours on high, then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving.
