Instructions
1. Make the Crust
Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs and sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a sprayed 8×8-inch baking dish. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing well. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until evenly combined—avoid overmixing.
3. Assemble the Dessert
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust. Spoon the cherry pie filling on top and carefully spread it out for an even layer.
4. Chill & Serve
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor and texture.

Easy Removal Tip: Fill the sink with very hot water just enough to cover the bottom and a tiny bit of the sides of the pan. Hold the pan in the water for under a minute to loosen the crust for easy slicing.
