Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta

Directions

  1. Cook the Chicken

    • Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  2. Make the Sauce

    • Lower the heat to medium, then add butter to the skillet.

    • Sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits for extra flavor.

    • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. Cook the Pasta

    • While the sauce simmers, cook angel hair pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  4. Finish the Dish

    • Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to warm through.

    • Serve chicken over a bed of pasta, drizzling with extra sauce.

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan.

Tips for Success

✨ Pound chicken to an even thickness for quicker, juicier cooking.
✨ Don’t skip scraping up the browned bits—this is the flavor base for the sauce!
✨ Angel hair cooks fast, so keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.
