HOW TO MAKE CROCK POT CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS

The slow cooker makes it easy to make dinners like chicken and dumplings in a crockpot. Incredibly delicious chicken and dumplings may be prepared with little to no work at all, allowing you to have supper on the table in record time.

I can’t wait to tell you about the new favorite comfort dish in our house: chicken and dumplings made in the crock pot. I know that many of you like the recipe for our Crockpot Chicken pot pie, and I can assure you that this new dish will not let you down.

You won’t find a better recipe for chicken and dumplings with biscuits to prepare in a crock pot than this one, and it’s really easy to put together. Try out this recipe for some simple but hearty comfort food when you are in the mood for something that will warm you up from the inside out. My children regarded it as the most delicious supper they’d ever had. That is what you could call a victory.

In most cases, we do not provide anything else to go along with the chicken and dumplings. You may always add a side of veggies to your meal, such as green beans, corn on the cob, or a delicious green salad, if you want to extend the amount of food that you receive from each dish. We are really enjoying the leftover chicken and dumplings that you cooked. We keep it in separate containers for easy access and use it to whip up a quick lunch for both my husband and me. This homemade chicken and dumpling dish may be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheating anything on the stovetop is my preferred method when doing it at home. This guarantees that it is heated all the way through.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

3 boneless and skinless chicken breasts.

Frozen mixed vegetables; I used the 12-oz bag.

1/2 onion; finely chopped.

2 Cans.Of 10 oz of cream of chicken soup.

2 Cups.Of chicken broth.

1 small spoon.Of garlic salt.

1/2 small spoon.Of poultry seasoning.

1 small spoon.Of salt,

1/2 small spoon.Of black pepper.

1 large can.Of biscuits.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Put the chicken and vegetables in the slow cooker and turn them on low. Include the cream of chicken soup as well as the spices in the dish.

2nd Step

Add the chicken broth and cover everything. Cook on low for a total of 6 hours, or on high for 3 of those hours.

3rd Step

After it has been cooked all the way through, shred the chicken and put it back into the slow cooker.

4th Step

Slice the biscuits in half and layer them on top of the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker.

5th Step

Cover and continue to simmer on high for 60–90 minutes, stirring the biscuits regularly throughout this time, until they are completely cooked through. Enjoy while it’s still warm!
