Brown the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.

Add diced onion, green pepper, red pepper, and garlic. Cook until veggies are tender.

Build the Base

Transfer the beef and veggie mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.

Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Slow Cook

Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 ½ hours (or LOW for about 6 hours).

Add Pasta & Peas

About 1 hour before serving, cook the macaroni separately according to package directions.

Stir the cooked pasta and frozen peas into the crockpot about 30 minutes before serving.

Finish & Serve

Cover and let sit until everything is heated through.

Garnish with fresh parsley or shredded cheese, and serve warm.
