  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for a firmer texture)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For Topping (Optional):

  • Whipped cream
  • Fresh berries
  • Caramel or chocolate drizzle

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat the Oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix the Crust Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  3. Create the Bottom Crust: Press half of the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Use the back of a spoon or a flat-bottomed glass to pack it down evenly.
  4. Bake the Bottom Crust: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  5. Add the Top Crust Layer: Set aside the remaining half of the crust mixture for later use.

Step 2: Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat the Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Sugar and Eggs: Gradually add the sugar, then mix in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  3. Mix in the Remaining Ingredients: Add vanilla extract, sour cream, heavy cream, flour, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 3: Assemble the Cheesecake

  1. Pour the Filling Over the Bottom Crust: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the pre-baked crust.
  2. Add the Top Crust: Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture evenly over the top of the cheesecake filling. Gently press it down to create a firm second crust layer.
