Step-by-Step Method

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Before draining, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
