🌟 Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Recipe
🕒 Total Time: 30 minutes
🍽️ Servings: 4
🛒 Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless), cut into bite-sized chunks
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
- 8 oz (about 2½ cups) uncooked penne or fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional for richness)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prep and Sauté the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or deep pan over medium-high heat. Season your chicken chunks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Add the chicken to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5–7 minutes). Remove the chicken and set aside.
Step 2: Build the Flavor Base
In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
Pour in the chicken broth and stir to loosen up any bits stuck to the pan (this adds so much flavor!).
Step 3: Cook the Pasta Right in the Sauce
Add the uncooked pasta and heavy cream to the pan. Stir well. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
Cover and let it cook for about 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce thickens. If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of milk or water to loosen it.
