Tips & FAQs
Can I use a different cheese?
Absolutely! Cheddar is classic, but mozzarella, Swiss, or Monterey Jack work wonderfully.
Do these muffins need longer cooking time?
Nope! The sausage is already cooked before mixing, so 18–20 minutes in the oven is plenty.
How should I store leftovers?
Keep them in a tightly covered container or wrap them in plastic wrap. They stay fresh in the fridge for 3–4 days.
Can I freeze these muffins?
Yes! Wrap each muffin tightly or place them in a freezer-safe container. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
