HOW TO MAKE SKINNY CHICKEN BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

A delicious and reassuring supper is created by combining chicken that has been sautéed and broccoli that has been steamed with a cheese sauce that has been produced from scratch and then immediately broiling the mixture. You don’t have to let the dish bake in the oven; rather, everything is cooked directly on the burner, then put together in a casserole dish, and then rapidly broiled. You really might call it an “uncasserole” because of this. since of the hectic schedules that my sons have, casseroles like this one are perfect for me since I can prepare it in advance and then just pop it in the oven when It is ready to be served!!!

This chicken dish is nutritious and a great source of lean protein thanks to the chicken. In addition, there is a delicious slice of broccoli included in each meal. Additionally, the sauce is light and creamy in texture. My sons go crazy for this meal, especially when I serve it with a side of toasted French bread. A supper that is good for everyone and is also delicious!

THESE ARE THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR MAKING THIS SKINNY CHICKEN BROCCOLI CASSEROLE:

1 Pkg.Of cooked chicken tenders.

Fresh broccoli; I used 10-ounces cooked.

2 cans.Of fat-free cream of chicken soup.

¾ Cup.Of evaporated milk.

1 Tsp.Of fresh lemon juice.

1 Cup.Of shredded cheddar cheese.

½ Cup.Of bread crumbs.

2 ½ Tbsp.Of grated Parmesan cheese.

PREPARATION:

Step 1:

Prepare a baking dish measuring 9 by 13 inches and coat it with nonstick baking spray before preheating the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2:

In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets and chicken pieces that have been chopped. Then, in a smaller dish, combine the milk, lemon juice, and cans of soup by stirring them together.

Step 3:

Mix the chicken and broccoli together with the soup, milk, and lemon juice before adding the wet components. Combine thoroughly.

Step 4:

Put the mixture into the baking dish using a scoop, and then smooth it out so that it is uniformly distributed.

Step 5:

Combine the bread crumbs and the grated parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl. On top of the mixture, distribute the shredded cheese in an even layer.

Step 6:

On top of the casserole, equally distribute the bread crumbs and the grated parmesan cheese. Spray the casserole dish with cooking spray and lightly coat it.

Step 7:

Do not cover the dish, and bake it at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min. Enjoy it right away!
