Whoopi Goldberg walked off the set of The View during a heated discussion about a recent Miranda Lambert controversy.

The conversation centered around a viral video in which Lambert stopped her performance of “Tin Man” to reprimand some fans for taking selfies in the audience.

Goldberg, along with co-hosts Sarah Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, debated the incident.

Whoopi expressed her view that, “Even though they bought tickets and came to see her, they should respect her while she’s singing so she can connect with them.”

However, her co-hosts disagreed. Sunny Hostin pointed out the high cost of the VIP tickets, which were priced at $757, saying, “If I paid $757, I’m going to take as many pictures of myself as I want.” This comment prompted Whoopi to leave the set, though she did so humorously, pausing to take a selfie with a 91-year-old woman in the audience.

“I’m leaving to take a picture with this incredible ninety-one-year-old lady. Let’s take a picture together. You and me, together,” she said as the audience laughed.
