Why You’ll Love These Green Chile Pinwheels

  • Only four ingredients required
  • No baking or cooking needed
  • Ready in under 15 minutes
  • Easy to prepare ahead of time
  • Perfect for parties and gatherings
  • Creamy, savory, and slightly spicy flavor

Ingredients

To make approximately 30 to 40 pinwheels, you’ll need:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles, drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Equipment Needed

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Sharp knife
  • Plastic wrap
  • Cutting board

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Softened cream cheese is easier to blend and creates a smoother filling.

Add the drained diced green chiles and shredded cheddar cheese.

Mix everything thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly combined. The mixture should be creamy with the green chiles and cheese distributed throughout.

Step 2: Spread the Mixture

Lay one tortilla flat on a clean work surface.

Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla. Make sure to reach close to the edges so every bite contains plenty of filling.

Repeat with the remaining tortillas until all the filling has been used.
