Instructions

Step 1 – Prep the Beef

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour with seasoned salt.

  2. Toss the beef in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

Step 2 – Sear the Meat & Peppers

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the coated beef, minced garlic, and sliced bell peppers. Cook until the beef begins to brown.

  3. Transfer the beef and peppers to a slow cooker, leaving the skillet grease behind.

Step 3 – Make the Gravy

  1. In the same skillet, add stewed tomatoes (with juice) and beef broth.

  2. Gradually whisk in a bit of flour to thicken, creating a rich gravy.

  3. Pour the gravy over the beef and peppers in the slow cooker.

Step 4 – Slow Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

  • Serve hot with rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
