HOW TO MAKE THE BEST PASTA SALAD
The VERY BEST Pasta salad is a tried-and-true family recipe that is always popular at get-togethers, potlucks, and even as a tangy accompaniment to a meal. Packed with both taste and power!
My family has traditionally referred to the dish as “Grandpa’s Spaghetti Salad,” which is another term for the recipe for the very best pasta salad. This is because he considered this dish to be one of his absolute favorites, and he insisted that it be prepared for him whenever there was a special occasion. Having said that, the fact that this recipe for pasta salad is also my husband’s favorite meal is something I just cannot express in words how happy it makes me.
Not even ONE of his favorite dishes, but rather, his MOST favorite recipe overall and of all time. When he sees me cooking it, he physically lets out a moan since he is aware that he is going to gain the equal of a half-serving dish of pasta salad.
THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
A 12-oz Pkg.Of gluten-free rotini pasta.
Roma tomatoes; I used 3 seeded and chopped.
A large peeled cucumber; finely chopped
4-oz.Of pepperoni; finely chopped.
A small can.Of sliced olives.
4-oz.Of Salad Supreme Seasoning.
16-oz.Of Italian Dressing.
PREPARATION METHOD:
First Step
To cook rotini, first bring a big pot of water to a boil, then add the pasta and continue cooking until it is soft. After draining, rinse the pasta in cold water until it is completely chilled. After thorough draining, add the drained ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
Second Step
Once the pasta has cooled, add the tomatoes, cucumber, pepperoni, and black olives, as well as one-third of the bottle of Italian dressing and one-fourth of a cup of salad supreme seasoning. Mix everything well before serving.
Third Step
After tasting it, add extra salad dressing or Salad Supreme Seasoning if you think it needs it. You may serve it immediately, or you can store it in the refrigerator for up to two hours.
