HOW TO MAKE HOMESTYLE BEEF AND NOODLES

This simple recipe for beef and noodles is a family favorite that’s simple to make! The creamy gravy is a reassuring pleasure that you will desire again and again, and it can be created in your cupboard with just basic ingredients in about thirty minutes.
This recipe for beef and egg noodles is simply good old-fashioned comfort food that is economical and requires very little effort to prepare. It’s similar to the way I make my chicken and noodles. To make something that tastes as good as this, you just need a few basic ingredients. For a quick lunch that can be prepared for the whole family on the stovetop, it has seasoned and tender ground beef and is ready in a flash.
This is in no way an elaborate dish, but for some inexplicable reason, the most successful meals with finicky eaters tend to be the simplest ones. If you have young children living with you, they will gobble up this ground beef and noodles with homemade gravy in no time at all. It’s one of my go-to recipes for those nights when I just don’t feel like cooking but I really want a warm and comforting meal as soon as possible.

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

2 Cups.Of uncooked egg noodles.

500 grams.Of lean ground beef.

A medium chopped onion.

2 to 3 garlic cloves; minced.

1 Tbsp.Of Worcestershire sauce.

1/4 Tsp.Of Italian seasoning.

1/4 Cup.Of flour.

2 Cups.Of beef broth.

Salt and pepper to taste.

DIRECTIONS:

1st Step

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the egg noodles, and cook them following the instructions on the box.

2nd Step

While it is going on, put some ground beef and onion into a pan. Sauté over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat as you go until it has reached the desired color and is beautifully browned (about 10 minutes).

3rd Step

Turn the heat down to medium, add the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning, and whisk to combine. Cook for one minute after adding the ingredients.

4th Step

After stirring in the flour, continue cooking for another one to two minutes, stirring often (this cooks the raw flour taste out).

5th Step

While swirling constantly until the flour has dissolved and scraping any stuck-on parts from the bottom of the pan, gradually pour in the beef broth. Stir until the flour has dissolved.

6th Step

Cook for a further five to ten minutes, giving the gravy the occasional stir, or until it has reached the desired consistency of thickness. If it becomes too thick, you may thin it down by adding a little bit more beef broth.

7th Step

Once the egg noodles have been cooked, drain them and return them to the pan. Next, toss them with the meat mixture. If it is necessary, season with salt and pepper and serve at once.
